HyProCure®, a Type II Extra-Osseous TaloTarsal Stabilization (EOTTS) device, has become the leading solution for patients suffering with the symptoms and secondary conditions resulting from partial talotarsal dislocation. The condition is a foot imbalance that throws both the foot and the entire body out of alignment. It affects people of all ages and is often the direct or contributing cause of overpronation, bunions, plantar fasciitis, knee pain, hip pain, back pain and even problems in the neck and shoulders.
The device is placed deep into the canalis portion of the sinus tarsi, reestablishing the normal pivot over which the talus (ankle bone) glides, thereby properly realigning the foot and ankle bones and restoring normal function. Via a minimally invasive procedure, the HyProCure® device instantly stabilizes the hindfoot bones, stopping the continued trauma to the foot and body, and even possibly leading to the reversal of associated conditions. HyProCure® represents a real solution for talotarsal displacement and its devastating effects throughout the body.
Potential surgical candidates can find out more about the HyProCure® solution and the devastating effects of talotarsal dislocation at www.HyProCure.com.

How Does a Doctor Determine if HyProCure® is The Best Solution for Me?
The diagnosis of partial talotarsal dislocation is best made by a foot and ankle specialist who will examine the foot with and without weight being applied, and also by watching the person walk.
Ultimately, the best way to diagnosis the presence of talotarsal displacement is through radiographic examination, which officially confirms the presence and severity of the condition.
Traditionally, most specialists will order a series of standing radiographs, that is, x-rays of the foot while the person is standing. These should be taken with the foot in its relaxed position (full weight applied) and also with the hind-foot bones in their balanced “neutral” or ideal position.
In addition, your specialist may perform further movement tests, as well as some computer-aided exams like gait pattern analysis, if deemed necessary.
All of these diagnostic methods are completely painless and non-invasive. They are safe, fast and are simple routine processes for your doctor. Make an appointment today with a HyProCure® specialist near you!

Back Pain: Common Misconceptions
Back pain is one of the most common musculoskeletal complaints in people of all ages. There are many types of back pain, affecting different parts of the back in different ways and with varying intensity.
We invite you to learn more about understanding your back pain, about talotarsal displacement and about HyProCure®, a permanent, minimally invasive solution that corrects the problem at its root.
Common Misconceptions about back pain:
I have back pain because everyone in my family has had it, so it’s normal.
The fact that your family members had problems with their back may not be a sign of congenital back problems. Rather, it’s much more likely that it’s a sign of congenital partial talotarsal dislocation. Genetic deformities in the back itself are possible but they are very rare, while hereditary foot problems are far more common. Your back pain — and that of your relatives — may very well be caused by a foot imbalance and the solution may be readily available to you through HyProCure®.
Back surgery is all it takes and I’ll be as good as new.
It is true that in some cases back surgery will indeed be inevitable if the damage to the tissues has been considerable. However, even if the patient does indeed require one of these highly invasive procedures, they will only be addressing the symptoms. If the cause for the tissue damage to the back is a body imbalance originating in the feet as a result of partial talotarsal dislocation, the symptoms will inevitably return and worsen until the cause is addressed. This is why we often see cases where further back surgeries are needed some time after the initial one was performed. The imbalance coming from the feet will simply shift to a different weakest link time and time again, until the source of the imbalance at the foot level is corrected.

What are the Direct Effects of TaloTarsal Displacement?
The most common reason for misaligned feet is partial talotarsal dislocation, or talotarsal displacement. This condition affects people of all ages. It occurs when the ankle bone displaces off of its normal position and its contact points on the hindfoot bones — in other words, when the balance of the ankle bone on the heel bone is lost. This creates an abnormal, inward rotation of the ankle bone and outer rotation of the rest of the foot, which in turn creates a fundamental imbalance of forces and weight distribution in the foot and also in the rest of the body.
When partial talotarsal dislocation occurs, it creates a damaging misalignment of forces in the foot, as well as throughout the entire body.

HyProCure® Recognized as the Most Powerful Minimally Invasive Procedure in Foot & Ankle Surgery
In an article published by the International Federation of Podiatrists, evidenced based medicine supports a claim regarding EOTTS with HyProCure®
HyProCure®, an extra-osseous talotarsal stabilization (EOTTS) device made by GraMedica®, a global orthopedic medical device company, is increasingly recognized worldwide as the premier treatment option for partial talotarsal dislocation. In a recent publication from The International Federation of Podiatrists (FIP), HyProCure® was distinguished as the only EOTTS device proven to restore the normal alignment of the articular facets of the talotarsal joint, thus eliminating abnormal excessive motion while preserving the normal range of motion. Dr. Bryan Bullard of Amarillo, TX, USA, described the evidence-based research behind EOTTS with HyProCure® and said it “is an incredibly powerful technique which should be in the armamentarium of any foot and ankle surgeon which deals with the life changing complications associated with chronic talotarsal displacement.”

Self-check for TaloTarsal Displacement
Typically, talotarsal displacement is overlooked or ignored until painful symptoms or side effects show up, including overpronation/hyperpronation, fallen arches, bunions, plantar fasciitis (heel pain), knee pain, hip pain, back pain and even problems in the neck and shoulders.
If you or someone close is suffering from the effects of partial talotarsal dislocation and a self-check confirms the presence of the condition, we strongly encourage you to make an appointment with a specialist near you to learn more about HyProCure® and discover how this solution can significantly improve your quality of life.

What is TaloTarsal Displacement?
This is because the rear-foot is the center point of our body’s balance and weight distribution during walking and standing. As a consequence, talotarsal displacement can be the direct cause of numerous symptoms and secondary conditions, including fallen arches (flat feet), plantar fasciitis (heel pain), overpronation/hyperpronation, bunions, heel spurs, knee pain, hip pain, back pain and even complications in the neck and shoulders.
Talotarsal displacement will not resolve on its own, patients don’t grow out of it and it’s not possible to reverse it through exercise or physical therapies. Without properly addressing partial talotarsal dislocation as the root of the problem, treatment of these secondary conditions will only be a temporary fix. The adverse side effects will most likely reoccur or simply shift to another part of the body.
HyProCure® represents a real solution for many patients suffering from the devastating effects resulting from talotarsal displacement, and a real opportunity to improve their quality of life.
