Pediatric Symptoms of Partial Talotarsal Dislocation

Below is a list of common symptoms found in children suffering from talotarsal displacement (i.e. hyperpronation).

  • Growing pains
  • Flattened arch
  • Out-toed walking
  • Tip-toe walking
  • Structural deformities
  • Not wanting to wear shoes
  • Abnormal shoe patterns
  • Shoe laces coming untied
  • Always wanting to be held or will sit down frequently when walking
  • Poor posture
  • Knee, hip, back and neck symptoms
  • Inactive child
