Will I Still Have to Wear My Orthotics After the HyProCure® Procedure?
If the orthotics were dispensed to treat hyperpronation then you will no longer need them. Learn more at www.HyProCure.com.
However, there are other reasons for orthotics to be worn. Orthotics can be used to off-weight prominent areas to the bottom of the foot. If those areas are not surgically addressed, then orthotics may still be required after the procedure.

Fix Foot Pain at It's Root with the HyProCure® Solution
HyProCure® represents a real solution for talotarsal displacement and its devastating effects throughout the body. It instantly corrects the problem at its root and immediately works on improving and even reversing many of the symptoms and secondary conditions resulting from this deformity. These include flat feet, overpronation/hyperpronation, plantar fasciitis (heel pain), knee pain, hip pain, back pain and many others, both in children and adults.
In order to understand this breakthrough solution, let’s first take a look at the problem. Partial talotarsal dislocation occurs when the ankle bone (talus) displaces off of its natural alignment with the calcaneus (a hindfoot bone) and/or the navicular (a midfoot bone). As a result of this abnormal motion, the natural space between these three bones, called the sinus tarsi, collapses. The sinus tarsi is at the apex of the foot’s ability to distribute weight and motion evenly. When it collapses, the foot twists into an unnatural position and shape, creating an imbalance throughout the entire body.
HyProCure® is an internal stabilization device that is placed inside the foot, into the collapsing space. It acts as a stent to keep the space in its natural, open position. Immediately upon placement, the ankle and hindfoot bones will be situated into their proper alignment. The procedure instantly stabilizes and re-aligns the hindfoot, which in turn also helps to correct the imbalances created in the rest the body.
The HyProCure® device is simply pushed into place. There is no drilling or screwing involved. Thanks to its unique, anatomical design, the HyProCure® device slides right into its natural corrective placement. The tissues inside the space will attach and hold it in place during the healing process.
Find a Specialist Today at www.HyProCure.com.
The procedure is minimally invasive and is usually performed under local anesthesia or twilight sedation. The time to full recovery for all associated symptoms varies from patient to patient. Typically, most patients are back to normal walking within a few weeks.

Understanding Knee Pain: The Foot Connection
The knee is a very complex joint with many functions, including bending, straightening, twisting and rotating. It is comprised of bones, ligaments, tendons and cartilage that have to work in proper balance and synchronicity in order to meet the intense demands placed upon them.
There are many reasons for knee pain, but they can all be classified into three main groups. The first one is accident or injury, which happens as a consequence of impact or forceful action in the area. The second one is hereditary malfunction, which involves abnormal development of one or more of the tissues that comprise the knee structure. And the third and by far most common one is damage or deformity caused by improper motion due to leg misalignment. In this last case, both the source of the problem and the solution can be found in a faulty foot structure, due to a very common condition called partial talotarsal dislocation.
The treatments available to address knee pain range from creams and massages to complex surgeries and everything in-between. However, for the majority of patients who suffer from knee pain as a consequence of a leg misalignment, any of these treatments will only address the symptoms and will not resolve the real cause of their problem. Any permanent solution for these patients needs to include addressing the source of the abnormal forces acting on the structures of the knee, namely the excessive motion of the ankle bone on the hindfoot bones. Until the underlying cause for these conditions is addressed, the problems are bound to reappear and continue to worsen.
We invite you to learn more about your knee pain, about talotarsal dislocation and about HyProCure®, a permanent, minimally invasive solution that corrects the problem at its root.

Plantar Fasciitis/Heel Pain
Plantar fasciitis is primarily caused by excessive hindfoot motion, which is a direct consequence of partial talotarsal dislocation, a misalignment of the ankle bone on the hindfoot bones. This abnormal and excessive motion of the rear-foot causes the plantar fascia to over-stretch, eventually creating the micro-ruptures that lead to the painful tearing, inflammation and resulting pain.

"I started using HyProCure® in my practice because I liked the design. It goes into the sinus and canalis, which is more of an anatomical fit. I like the ease of use and how you only have one incision. I also enjoy the quick recovery for my patients. As a surgical procedure, it is a great valid option over other procedures that could be performed for a failure of the talotarsal mechanism." Read more...
